About the Event
Our Day of Recollection will celebrate two major Franciscan events. The first is called Transitus. On October 3rd, the Franciscan family remembers St Francis as he passes from this life to new life. We hear the stories from St. Clare and the early brothers as they share memories of Francis. The second is the poetic hymn St. Francis composed around 1224-1225, "The Canticle of the Creatures". We will spend time in prayer and moments of quiet reflection. Come celebrate with us the beauty of St. Francis in remembrance of his life lived in praise of the goodness of God.
