retreat is a time for God, a time for assessing our relationship with God. We spend time with the people we love cherish and respect. We spend time with God. A retreat nurtures our spiritual life in an environment away from the ordinary distractions of life.
In scriptures, we read that Jesus would simply go off and pray. Each and every one of us needs time to be alone, and a retreat provides us with this opportunity. Organizations also need these times. We need to pause and discern where we are; where we are going; where we want to be and how we get there. A retreat provides these possibilities for any person, married couple, religious, or organization.
We have a number of retreats that we sponsor (See "Upcoming Retreats") and others that we host.
You will notice that some of our sponsored retreats are thematic, like "Franciscan Spirituality"; others are seasonal, like the "New Year's Retreat". Still others are geared toward specialized groups, like, "Advance".
Some examples of our hosted retreats (that we advertise) are a variety of Addiction Retreats, Women and Men’s Groups, Marriage and Engaged Encounters.
Beside our hosted and sponsored retreats, we also have private retreats. These are for individuals who prefer their own style of retreat.
(For them )
Arrangements must be made in advance. -Private retreatants are permitted on a mid-week, space available basis only.
